Pearlfisher Partners was established in 2008 as an independent unit of GET A HEAD Recruitment Consultants AG with the sole purpose of concentrating exclusively on top-level executive search assignments. The two managing partners, Alexander Matthies and Matthias Zühlke, leverage substantial industry expertise into the market and during their long standing cooperation have established very successful working relationships with a number of leading clients across some of the world’s most competitive and dynamic industry sectors.

Born in 1970, Alexander’s previous professional experience was gained with one of Europe’s leading aerospace and defense companies before embarking on a career as a consultant with a specialist German recruitment consultancy focusing on sales and technology roles. He holds a degree in business administration and in 2008 founded Pearlfisher Partners together with Matthias Zuehlke.

is an established industry expert and executive search thought leader in CleanTech and Renewables. He has been placing executives in leading positions across all sectors of the industry since 2003. Positions successfully filled include the full range of C-suite appointments and technical specialists as well as senior sales, purchasing and quality assurance managers. Alexander has a deep understanding of the specific challenges facing the wind, photovoltaics, solar and biomass/biogas sectors and is in an ideal position to carry out mandates for international clients both in Germany and across the globe.
